MY WORLD OF STORYTELLING

WRITER - DIRECTOR

With a deep passion for storytelling and a keen eye for visual narrative, Hana Holloway is a director and writer dedicated to crafting compelling cinematic experiences. A Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate with over six years of experience, she brings a unique blend of technical expertise and creative intuition to every project.

Hana’s work is defined by her ability to explore the emotional depth of characters and narratives, as seen in projects like Mother’s Day and Turning Point, which was performed at ASSITEJ Serbia. Her storytelling pushes beyond traditional boundaries, capturing the complexities of human relationships with authenticity and resonance, and a focus on femme narratives.

Her most recent project and directorial debut, MotherWound, won Best Script at the London Script Awards and Best Script at Oxford Script Awards. This psychological horror short, successfully raised $12,000 through crowdfunding and wrapped production in November. Outside of the unique story, she was able to break barriers by having a majority femme film crew. In July 2024, Hana was interviewed on NPR to discuss the filmmaking process and her aspirations for the story.

As a filmmaker, Hana Holloway is committed to creating thought-provoking and visually striking narratives that leave a lasting impact on audiences.
